I requested heir-ship information from the BIA but thinking that it would take a long time to hear from them, I had the National archives researched also. I was very surprised to hear from the BIA at no cost in about two weeks with what is probably the same information that if paid for from the archive research. But this information about family is priceless. Thanks for any help in advance.

timr75: the only name I know is matobdoka: Old Bear. Wahehe is also the name of a county in So. Dakota. Tate: wind I don't know the rest of it. the win on the end of two of the names indicates the person was a woman. hapahdayewin wed John(mazaiciyapa) Thompson at Santee,NE in 1868.
